Easy Halloween Crafts for Kids
Halloween is almost here! And that means you need a few creative crafts for the kiddos. If you’re not sure where to start, check out these holiday Halloween art activities that are perfect for preschoolers, kindergartners and older children.
Make a shimmering ghoul with a hint of glitter, some tempera paint and construction paper. Draw an outline of a ghost onto the paper with a crayon, marker or pencil. Paint the ghost a ghastly white with temperas. Sprinkle silver or opal-colored glitter onto the still-wet paint. After the first layer of paint dries, add eyes with black or dark tempera. Add black or blue glitter onto this part of the painting too!
This is an easy kids’ craft that can double as Halloween party décor. Simply cut sheets of black tissue paper into halves or fourths. Pinch the paper at the center and tie a piece of orange yarn around it. Hang the flying bats from a tree or anywhere else.
Make your own treat bags. Reuse brown paper grocery bags and magically transform them into something to carry candy in. Decorate the outside with stickers, markers, crayons or colored pencils. Help your child to dream up a festive holiday design or create a Halloween pattern with ghosts, bats, cats or witches.
