Administrative Professionals Day Kids’ Flower Craft
Is there a special administrative professional in your life? Celebrate Administrative Professionals Day with flowers! Okay, so that’s a pretty obvious answer to, “What should I get my administrative professional?” So instead of buying a bouquet, have your child make one. This is the perfect gift for the administrative professionals at work or your spouse/significant other who works in this field.
Check out these DIY crafty flowers that kids can make. You can always adapt them to fit to your child’s age and skill level.
Draw a wavy circle onto a piece of 8×10-inch paper. Have your child start the circle near the border of the paper. Draw a wavy spiral inwards and cut along the lines. Wind the paper into a flower shape and glue it at the bottom.
This is perfect for younger children who are still developing fine motor skills. Fold a piece of tissue in the middle and wind a green pipe cleaner around it. Fluff the tissue to make the flower unfold.
Draw a circle and at least five or six ovals onto the cardboard. Cut the shapes out. Glue the ovals around the circle to create a flower shape. Your child can paint the flower with temperas or color it with markers.
