Crafty Father’s Day Gifts for Kids to Create
Are you looking for a crafty Father’s Day gift the kids can make? Help your little artist show off their creative side with these easy to make gist that dad will cherish for years to come!
Dad Door Sign
Greet dad on his special day with a door-sized sign. Unroll plain gift wrap, break out the markers or crayons and help your pint-sized Picasso to draw dad a Father’s Day message. Hang the sign on the door for dad (and everyone else) to see.
Does dad have a junk drawer filled with charger cords? Help him to organize everything with a cute craft cord caddy. Reuse an old large-sized yogurt or cottage cheese container. Wash and dry the plastic container thoroughly. Cover the outside of the container with a wash of glue. Simply squeeze glue on the outside and use a paintbrush to spread it around. Tear pieces of tissue paper and collage them onto the glue. Finish the project with a second wash of glue. This seals the tissue in and adds a sparkle or shine.
Kids can create their own photo frame for dad. Cut a reused piece of cardboard into a heart, square, circle or any other shape. Draw a photo-sized rectangle in the center. Cut the rectangle out. Decorate the “frame” (cardboard) with paint, crayons or markers. Complete the craft and tape a family photo inside the rectangle-shaped hole area.
