Halloween Party Ideas for Kids
Fall is in the air and it’s time to start planning your family’s Halloween festivities. If your kiddos can’t wait to have a holiday party this year, check out the easy activity ideas to try out on the big day!
Ask each guest to pick a spooky Halloween creature or character, such as a ghost, vampire, or witch. The players will act out their chosen character as they play tag. Ghosts can try to stealthily move around the game-play spaces, vampires can turn into bats and “fly,” and witches can use “magical potions” to tag the other players.
Give each guest their own mini pumpkin to paint. Use temperas and finger paints to add creative decorations. Put the pumpkins on butcher paper or flatten cardboard and place the pieces on the ground. Give the kids a variety of fall-themed colors. Add in school glue and glitter for an extra special sparkle! This fun-filled family-friendly art activity also doubles as a party favor. Each guests gets to take home their pumpkin paint project.
Count the Candy Corn
Fill a clear jar with candy corn. Give each child a piece of paper and a marker or crayon. The guests can guess how many of the corns are inside the jar and write the number and their name on the piece of paper. Count the candy and announce the guests who got the closest number. The winner gets the entire jar of candy corn.
