Diwali Craft Projects, Coloring Pictures and Other Goodies
Diwali is a time for celebration, sharing and happiness. Houses are spruced up, new clothes are bought, huge amounts of food are cooked and generally, Hindu households go overboard to welcome this "festival of lights". All across India, people take great pains to decorate their houses with traditional motifs, earthen lamps and other decorative items.
Adults as well as children are caught in the Diwali fervor and everyone lends a helping hand to make their home look as beautiful as possible. Here are traditional crafts for Diwali which can be done by children (with some supervision) and without which no Indian household is ready for the festival.
