Grilled Portabella Mushrooms

Servings: 4

Prep. Time: 15 minutes

Ingredients:

  • 8 large portabella mushrooms
  • Virgin olive oil
  • Garlic powder
  • Onion powder
  • Cayanne pepper
  • Paprika
  • Salt and pepper
Instructions:

  1. Clean and stem mushrooms.
  2. With the bottoms up in a shallow pan, add dry ingredients to taste and cover entire mushroom with olive oil. I usually let the mushrooms soak up all the oil before I turn it to season the other side. Do the same for the other side.
  3. Let the mushrooms marinate for at least a hour and grill bottom side down first.
  4. Grill each side for about 5 -7 minutes (depends on how large and thick your mushrooms are).
  5. Serve immediately.
