I am offering a very rare and original signature of Hubert Bland....Woolwich Kent.
It is on the first page of a first edition of 'Beauties of Literature' Volume 4 by Milton-Dryden.
Hubert Bland was a writer, politician and one of the founders of the socialist organization, The Fabian Society.
He was married to Edith Nesbit, a writer of childrens books. The book is in good condition with tape on the cover to hold the top cover from separation (See Pic.).
All pages are intact with the original binding. The last page, which is empty of writing, has about a quarter of it missing.
The book measures 5" X 3.5" and has 212 pages.The signature is in excellent condition and looks to be from the mid to late 1800"s. Thanks and Enjoy.
