Martin Luther King, Jr., Unique Audio Tape 50 Years Old:
This is the original audio tape of Martin Luther King, Jr. speaking in Cleveland, Ohio. When it was played on a radio station, it resulted in the election of Mayor Carl Stokes. The tape was shelved for nearly fifty years by the man who recorded the tape with Reverand King's permission. Excerpts of the tape were recently played as part of a CBS presentation. I will include a digitized copy of the tape, which is approximately 22 minutes long. Reverand King utilizes unique phrases, and his voice is loud and clear. A similar tape of a different speech was purchased for $100,000. I can play a portion of the tape for any interested party.
Because of the rarity of this item, a meeting to transfer the tape will take place at a bank location on the East Coast agreed to by the buyer and the seller.
