Christmas Holiday Mocktails
Celebrate Christmas with a few fun, fruit-filled and fabulous drinks that the whole family can enjoy! Non-alcoholic holiday mocktails provide everyone from tots to teens (and adults too) with a tasty treat that has a Christmas-time theme. If you’re planning a holiday party, or just have an evening of together-time with the family, these winter mocktails are easy alternatives.
The Christmas red of cranberry juice brings a holiday theme to your dinner table. Mix three-fourths cranberry juice with one-fourth fizzy seltzer water to a bubbly look. If you want to mix things up, skip the seltzer and use sparkling apple cider or grape juice instead.
Add a hint of green to your holiday table with a lime mocktail. Squeeze limes into seltzer water, add a hint of cane sugar and mix together. Even though limes are green on the outside, the inside won’t give you that Christmas look you’re going for. Drop in a drip or two of green food coloring to give the limeade a festive hue.
Red and Green Cherries
Mix cherry juice with lemon-lime soda to create a refreshing drink with a holiday hue. Tie in the green color by garnishing the rim of the glass with green crystal sugar (you can buy this as-is or make your own by mixing a few drops of green food coloring in with plain crystal sugar). Drip a few more drops of green food coloring into the ice cube tray, add water and make holiday cubes to add to the mocktail.
