What do s’mores have to do with Rosh Hashanah recipes? This kid-friendly idea swaps out the traditional campfire treat for a holiday-centered one.
- Graham crackers
- Marshmallows (you can also choose Kosher marshmallows)
- White chocolate
- Slice the apples into thin strips. This step should be done by an adult or a teen. Choose one color or use a variety of different colored-apples. If the skin seems to hard to chew, you can skin the apples before slicing them.
- Stack the graham crackers with a white chocolate square, an apple slice and a marshmallow in the middle. Microwave the stack for 10 seconds. If the marshmallow hasn’t melted, repeat for another 10 seconds. If you have an outdoor heat source (such as a fire pit or campfire) toast the marshmallow and then put it in the center of the stack. Test the heat of the s’more before allowing your child to touch or eat it.
- Drizzle honey over the top of the s’more to complete the snack!
