it depends if you are Jewish or not. If you are Jewish, absolutely not! You arent allowed to add on to a simcha- special occasion. Furthermore, a lot of other restrictions are in place that day

This is more of a question than an comment. I am planning on getting married on shavuot this year....since this day is symbolic of God-YHWH betrothing His people Israel to Himself, through the giving of the Torah. Please advice if getting married on such a Holy Day is permissible. Thanks.
