Two-Sided Postage Stamp Vendor
USED - Removed From Active Service
Accepts United States Coins / Quarters
$$ Money Making Opportunity for You $$
This listing is for a one used, two-column, custom-manufactured postage stamp vendor (selected at random from a group of postage stamp vendors that we removed from active service); one Ace-type round security key; two stamp weights; one large coin tray; and 100 cardboard vending folders.
ABOUT THIS POSTAGE STAMP VENDOR: This OVERSIZED RED, postage stamp vendor was purchased approximately 10 years ago and was placed into daily service. Over the years, the vendor has sold thousands of postage stamps. Each custom-made postage stamp vendor, when purchased new, cost $400. You now have an opportunity to purchase ONE used stamp vendor (selected at random from a lot of vendors) at a substantial cost savings (over the price of a brand new stamp vendor).
This postage stamp vendor's cabinet measures approximately 10" wide by 21" tall by 8 1/4"" deep. The coin mechanisms protrude and additional 5" beyond the face of the vendor. The vendor, stamp weights and coin tray weigh approximately 27.19 pounds. It's big, it's bright, it's noticeable and it's easy to service / fill / collect. You set it on the counter, leave it alone and it makes money - - - day in and day out.
The reason these postage stamp vendors were removed from active service is the chain store they were installed in went into receivership / bankruptcy and closed. Rather than reinstalling them we chose to sell them. We've made our money on them - now it's your turn!
WHAT'S INCLUDED IN THIS LISTING: One two-column postage stamp vendor (two-column meaning there are actually two complete vending mechanisms in each postage stamp vending machine); a combinations of two ESD or Greenwald V8 and/or V5 coin mechanisms (the V8 allowed up to eight quarters to be used, the V5 allowed up to five quarters to be used); one oversized coin tray, two stamp weights (used to keep the stacks of cardboard folders feeding smoothly through the machine); the main enclosure, the main face, sliding plastic "front window," one Ace-style round key, and 100 brand new cardboard postage stamp folders - SO THAT YOU CAN START SELLING POSTAGE STAMPS AS SOON AS IT ARRIVES ! The two columns allow you to sell two different quantities of stamps should you chose to. Sell one stamp in column one, sell two stamps in column two. Sell Forever Postage in one column, sell postcard postage in the other. It's your call!
WHERE A POSTAGE STAMP VENDOR MAKES THE MOST MONEY: After years of installing, servicing and collecting stamp vendors we have determined the most profitable locations for this type of vending machine are: Extremely rural areas (such as summer campgrounds and vacations spots); tourist areas (where visitors want to mail home postcards / letters); retirement centers / nursing homes (where elderly residents can't get to the post office -or- don't have access / know how to use the Internet); low-income inner-city areas (near public housing projects - where many residents don't have access to a post office or the Internet and must pay their bills by mail). These locations were our "cash cows" for a decade.

MOUNTING THE VENDOR: The vendor has several holes in the bottom of the main enclosure so it can be secured to a countertop or pedestal. In addition, there are several mounting holes in the rear of the enclosure to allow wall mounting. We strongly suggest you secure the vendor (since it will be full of your stamps and your money!).
CHANGING THE VENDOR'S PRICE: The vendor you receive will have either two Vertical-8 coin acceptors, two Vertical-5 coin acceptors or one of each. The V-8 and V-5 coin acceptors are heavy-duty and extremely reliable (we have never had a jamb with any quarters; we have never had a V-8 or V-5 damaged or broken). The Vertical-8 allows acceptance of up to 8 quarters per vend; The Vertical-5 allows acceptance of up to 5 quarters per vend. The number of quarters required per vend can be decreased / increased by disassembling the coin mechanism, inserting / removing plastic "coin fillers" (which take the place of each quarter) and reassembling the coin mechanism. Some vendors in our inventory already have some plastic coin fillers inserted (the vendor you receive may or may not have coin fillers). Should you need the plastic fillers, they can be ordered from any number of "laundry supply" companies for about a dollar each. In addition, we may have a couple of them in stock should you require them.
STAMP FOLDERS: Postage stamp(s) must be inserted into small, sanitary "hinged" cardboard folder. We will be happy to supply you with 100 of these folders at no additional cost (for each vendor you purchase). You may insert one stamp, two stamps or four stamps into each folder. The folder is then folded shut (and we suggest you then "Scotch Tape" the folder closed to keep the folders tidy and dispensing smoothly), stacked and then loaded into the vendor. Additional cardboard folders are reasonably priced and available on-line in quantities of 1,000 - 5,000 and 10,000 folders from a variety of vending supply houses.
ARE THESE REALLY DISCOUNT PRICED?: How do I know I'm getting a great deal on one of these USED, custom-made postage stamp vendors? Please check the on-line stores that sell these type of (much smaller) new postage stamp vendors. In fact, we'll even help you locate those on-line stores: cstore1.com, 2-column, $535.00; 4mega-vending.com, 2-column, $460.00; universalvending.com, 2-column, $399 [ normally $479, on sale at $399 ! ], onlinevending.com, 2-column, $325 [if you want the header and base, that's an EXTRA $195 !!]; vending-usa.com, 2-column, $399 [ on sale, regularly $459! ]. After seeing their new prices, it's almost like we're giving this used stamp vendor away ! We assume you'd rather save hundreds of dollars buying a used stamp vendor rather than a new one - but that's your call!
VENDOR'S CONDITION / DISCLAIMER: The postage stamp vendor you receive was removed from active service. It will show signs of day-to-day use: Scratches, possibly minor rust, maybe some paint damage, drops of paint, (from where businesses painted around them), adhesive from Scotch tape (it seems that business owners must tape advertising to every possible surface in their store), maybe a dent or ding, etc. None of the vendors are in bad condition. All of the ones in our inventory are fully functional and ready to be returned to service making money. Several vendors in our inventory even have a flashing LED light and a battery pack (to draw attention to the vendor). Again, this listing is for ONE used vendor and it's associated components.
DISCOUNTS: Effective July 2011, started collecting an 11% surcharge on the amount buyers pay for postage. We have never "gouged" our buyers on postage or shipping -and- we have never charged a "handling fee." In fact, we usually "broke even" or lost a little money on shipping. Under 's new rules, if a seller's actual postage cost is $1.25, now "dings" the seller a .14¢ (11%) "postage surcharge" resulting in another loss.
Inasmuch, WE DO NOT feel it's fair to pass 's surcharges along to our buyers - so we have simply removed the various discounts we previously offered our buyers. We sincerely apologize for this - - - however left us with two choices: Pass along their surcharges or remove our discounts.
HOW FAST WE'RE GOING TO GET TO YOU: As soon as PayPal notifies us that your payment has been posted, we will start packaging and readying your vendor for shipment. Due to the size and special packaging required on this large item (plus getting you a brand new ACE key cut) please allow us a full five business days to get your vendor out the door. We suspect it will ship sooner, but please allow us five days. Don't have a PayPal account? Feel free to contact us to see if other arrangements can be made (we're pretty easy to get along with).
INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING: Due to the size and considerable weight of this item, IT WILL NOT BE SHIPPED INTERNATIONALLY. In addition, this vendor is configured to accept United States coinage.
SHIPPING and HANDLING COST: There is no excessive "padding" with this item - it is a heavy item and requires additional packaging. It will ship in a 22" x 14" x 12" cardboard box with extra packing materials.
It ships United States Parcel Post Mail or United Parcel Service Ground or FexEx Ground to your United States address (our choice of carrier). PLEASE NOTE: We are in the Dayton / Cincinnati (Ohio) region. We may be able to deliver your vendor directly to you if you live in this region (to avoid the freight/shipping cost). You must contact us first to see if this is possible (select "Ask Seller A Question"). In addition, we will offer "customer pick up" if you would like to pick it up locally and avoid those nasty freight charges! Again, please contact us -IN ADVANCE- to make special delivery / pickup arrangements - don't assume and order.
INSURABLE?: ’s policy changed in 3rd Quarter 2009, (which previously allowed buyers the option of selecting and paying for coverage for their purchases). Thus, this item is not insurable. We don't make 's policies, we simply have to try to keep up with them.
SECURITY FEATURE: The photographs posted on contain digital watermarks to reduce fraud. These watermarks are not on the actual item - only the photographs.
FAVORITE SELLER: Please, take a moment to peek at our other items AND mark this store as one of your favorites so that you can come back and visit another time - - - even if you're not buying anything today. We enjoy locating and reselling oddities, offbeat pieces, thought-provoking Great Depression items, extraordinary and unique curiosities. Anyone can shop at Super MonsterMart. We sell yesterday's curiosities - to today's collectors and investors.
I DON'T LIKE THAT PRICE: As a general rule, we affix a price we believe is reasonable (a brand new postage stamp vendor costs over $300, this used one is already selling at a bargain price). But, if you don't like the price you see, contact us to see if we can barter a price that's more agreeable to you. The item listed here is intended to make a small profit for us and provide a money making opportunity to you.
