This is an Original American Revolution eranote (\"Continental Currency\")from NEW JERSEY. Denomination: \"ONE SHILLING\". Dated \"March 25, 1776\". Size: approx. 2\" by 3 3/4\". Color: Heavy tan/brown paper, w/Black &Red over-printing. Hand-signed & numbered in brown ink. Note is in Good Condition overall, but has several vertical tears + a scattering of Tiny holes (these \"defects\" have been reinforced with clear tape on the back/reverse side of the note); otherwise, o.k. Note grades aVG or slightly better. Front side has a Nice decorative border surrounding a statement of release + the words \"ONE SHILLING\" at the top, while the back/reverse side has a large, imprinted \"Leaf Pattern\" in the middle + \"One Shilling/\'Tis Death To Counterfeit \" at top & \"Burlington in New Jersey/Printed by Isaac Collins, 1776\" at the bottom.
