1794 Early American "obligation Bond" North Carolina 1794 For Sale
This is an Original late 18th century "OBLIGATION BOND", from North Carolina, dated "1794".Single-sheet, one-sided (back/reverse side is blank except for some handwritten notations). Size: approx. 6 1/4" by 8 1/4" . Partly-printed/partly-handwritten in brown ink on fine, laid paper. Excellent Condition; document has been folded several times (and unfolded); otherwise, o.k. ...This handwritten "Bond" is dated "the nineteenth day of April Anno Dom. One Thousand Seven Hundred ans Ninety-Four". It is a "promise to pay" note for "Sixteen pounds eight shillings and seven pence with Lawful Interest". This "Bond" is between NATHAN PEEBLES and ANDERSON PFRAIM (?) both from the Town of Warren, N.C.
