We have been collecting Navajo rugs
for over 40 years. It started when one of our families vacationed annually in
Wickenburg, AZ, beginning in 1960. We purchased rugs from Ogg's Hogan (now in
Prescott, AZ) and we bought directly from the Indians on the Reservations, etc.
As a Buyer you need to be careful with your choices of rugs that you wish to
purchase as there are a lot of Navajo "design" rugs which are not
made by the Navajo. There are also many hand-made rugs that are wool and made
in India or cotton or a combination of cotton/acrylic yarns made in Mexico.
Today, we collect and sell weavings from individuals, estates, and sales. We
guarantee that the rugs being offered on are authentic Navajo rugs. You
will not be disappointed.
