This26\" tall brunette beauty was manufactured in Germany by Heinrich Handwerk and is model # 139. She has brown sleep eyes, open mouth with teeth, and a replacement human hair wig. The bisque head and hands are completely intact with no chips, cracks, or hairlines. The head is mounted on a kid body which is in pretty good shape(given the age of the doll) with the exception of some cloth tape around the abdomen which is secure.Please look at all pictures. She is dressed exquisitely in a straw bonnet with flowers, an antique dotted swiss dress over which I have added this amazing reversable skirt with fringe, which was made by a milliner and is just stunning. She is also wearing undergarments with newer shoes and tights. She looks ready to go for a stroll on a lovely spring afternoon.Would be an exquisite addition to your growing antique doll collection. This doll is not in perfect shape, she is old. She displays beautifully and would look lovely in your cabinet, but she will not withstand constant dressing or undressing. She really is meant for display only.
