      FAQQ: Can I use this passes on dec 31 for the first time, or the park will be close?A: The first time you visit the park, you can use it on a 'black out' date. After the first use, 'black out' dates will apply. Good for an entire year from the first time you activate your pass. These new passes have an expiration date of 12/31/2013.Q: Can you upgrade the tickets @ the gate to front of the line passes?A: Yes, you may upgrade on a per visit basis with your annual pass. Just pay a minimum $49.00 up to $99.00 for that particular day. Universal Studios releases only a certain number of "Front of the line" passes per day, so you'll want to get to the park early. If by chance they've reached their maximum for the day then you will not be able to upgrade to the "Front of the line" at any price.
