Up for grabs is an M1 Garand International Harvester (IHC) stock- with the 1/2” box Defense Acceptance Stamp (DAS) cartouched stock. Here are the details:

· Condition:Beautiful, very smooth finish

· Flaw: Repaired crack on right hand side

This is a beautiful, late 1955 Overton wood stock set. It is a prime example of a late IHC stock, and it has its original finish and original lightly-struck DAS stamp. It does not have any metal on it.

This IHC stock had a crack on the right hand side, and it was repaired by the late, great John Usrey of Birmingham, Alabama. John wasan absolute wizard with wood, and the stock crack repair is scarely noticeable.(This repair isshown in the lastimage, whichis an extreme close up of the repair.)
