Korea,late Joseon dynasty, late 19th – early 20th century.A quitelarge seated cross-legged in dhyanasana
on a lotus flower Amitha Buddha figure painted in mineralpigments, his left hand placed his lap with the palm up,
his rightholding a small swastika symbol with thumb and index fingers, rendered againsta round radiating
multi-bordered aureole and a green halo around his head, twored rectangular cartouches painted to bottom edge.
It’s in veryfine condition with hand scroll mounting with silk-mounting lately.
