~ A Whiter Shade Of Pale ~ Wool For Rug Hooking, Applique, Penny Rugs, Quilting:
A 1/4 yd bundle of whites...sometimes you just need a bit of white so here's four shades to play with - a white white, a natural white, an antique white, and a cool white with light gray accents.
The wool pieces are each 1/16 yd and measure 6" - 7" wide and 15"-17" long.
I’m happy tocombine multiple purchases into one package for discounted shipping, as follows:
United States (Continental)–Shipping is First Class/Priority, $2.35 for the first ¼ yd bundle, each additional ¼ yd bundle is $1.20. If you are buying four or more bundles, email me for an invoice so I can give you a more accurate shipping rate, it may save you some money.
Canada- Shipping is First Class International (up to 4 lb), $7.50 for the first ¼ yd bundle, each additional ¼ yd is $1.20 (US).I ship First Class International as it ismuch cheaper to ship than Priority International (about 1/4 to 1/3 the cost of Priority) however it is considered low-priority air delivery and as such will take quite a bit longer in transit. How long will it take your package to arrive? If you live in the Eastern part of Canada you should receive your package within 1 to 2 weeks. If you live in the western part of Canada shipping times can be anywhere from 2 to 4 weeks. And there is no tracking so I cross my fingers as I pat my woolies goodbye at the post office and wish them safe and swift travels :D. If you can deal with the long shipping times I am more than happy to sell to you.
A note about my wool:
All wool comes to you ‘fulled’ and ready for your project. If you are buying wool off the bolt, I have washed and dried it in a controlled process to fluff and tighten the wool but not so much as to felt it. The same process occurs when I hand dye the wool in my dye pots. All wool shrinks during this process, usually by 10% to 15%.
Most of the wool I sell is fromRebecca Erb, Heavens to Betsyand Dorr, with a smattering of otherBritish woolsfrom assorted vendors. And… I love to dye wool; I never met wool too ugly to take home and throw in the dye pot. My bundles may contain all overdyed wool, mill dyed or both. As far as trying to depict the true color of the wool on your computer monitor – I do my best between my color corrected photos and descriptions, but please understand that it’s not an exact science...
