Antelope Sterling Silver Posy Holder Tussie Mussie Nouveau Victorian C.1880-189:
Rare, antique sterling silver posey holder / bride vase makers mark V ' W in a rectangle, plus other hallmarks on the stem that are hard to read, also marked 800. I am not 100% sure if this is English, definitely European. Sometimes referred to as a "TUSSIE MUSSIE" - thought to derive from old English words for "nosegay" and "moss". It is in very excellent condition with no repair or damage and has a deer or goat, with acorn and leaves underneath, amazing detail. The height is about 2" and the weight is 8.7 grams, even has the small screw to hold the flowers.
