Antique Mid 19thC Ridgway Morley Cashmere Pattern Ironstone Platter
Made between 1842 -1844
Up for offers is this antique Mid 19thC Ridgway ironstone platter in the Cashmere pattern.
This impressive Cashmere ironstone flow blue platter measures 15 1/8" wide x 11 5/8" and stands 1 3/8" high.
The border of the platter has a floral design and enters the well.
This pattern has two little deer in the center scene in which it is known for. One of the deer has antlers and the other does not. They are standing facing each other with each one having one raised leg. The background of the center scene has over-scaled flowers and leaves.
On the back of the platter is the maker's mark and four floral clusters on each corner.
Condition is very, very good. There are no chips, cracks or repairs. There is a very light crazing and a couple of very small shallow utencil marksthat does not detract from the piece at all.
