Beautiful, Pairpoint, Silver Plated Tea set. Made in New Bedford, Mass. in late 1800\'s. Hand chased design of leaves, flowers, vines and scrolling. Every rim is scalloped/ruffled. These unique pieces have a more matte texture on the body making the details of the leaves flowers and cartouches stand out with their shine. The finials are very detailed with more flowers and leaves. Comes with teapot, coffee pot, lidded sugar bowl, creamer. Pot handles are made with genuine ebony wood.I didn\'t clean the set because it has a patina (either natural or applied) of a very beautiful pinkish shade. It is very pretty in its natural state. But if you want to clean it, I am sure you can do it.These pots are in great, antique condition, especially for their age. May show some signs of wear for it\'s age such as small surface scratches and possible tarnish. Very little loss of plating, if any. The insides look good, with possible light staining on the inside.
