This is the Box Calf leather which most collector try to aquire,it is thick and healthy, although it does gain scratches and marks over time and with use these blend back into the patina with polishing, Box Calf leather gets better and better with age (if cared for ) andcan be handed down with pride through generations. Black Box Calf leather tends to be one of the longest lasting leathers used by Hermes and it refurbishes beautifully andgains the most dramatic and sought after mirror like patina. Truely, a forever bag.

Note this Kelly has a H in a Circle engraved zipperand no H zipper stop this is correct for the year of production of this Kelly. Please note that the H zipper stop was not in use at the time this bag was made.

Condition report>This bag is in gently used condition.The leather is supple;there aresome scratches,light cracks to hand on the bend shown in photos, the handle bases and hand base pads are sturdy and without crack or tears.No dropped stitches, no strange smells,no pen marks and no water marks or blisters... Two of the fourcornershave some scratches(shown in photos) but are without noted rubs or colorloss. The exterior and interior is clean.The hardwarehas typicalfine scratches from normal use.
