Awesome Medieval Crusader Heraldic Silver Seal Ring For Sale

Fantastic large and heavy medieval CRUSADER HERALDIC man's silver SEAL ring, consisting of a solid band rounded from the outside, ending in wider shoulders and a higher octagonal bezel, engraved with 2 heraldic lions holding a cross. Below the cross is a fleur-de-lis, on top a crown. A unique and awesome aristocratic piece of history dating to the 13th or 14th century AD. The Crusades were a series of military campaigns of a religious character waged by much of Christian Europe against external and internal opponents. Crusaders fought mainly against Muslims, although campaigns were also directed against Pagan Slavs, Jews, Russian and Greek Orthodox Christians, Mongols, Chathars, Hussites, and political enemies of the Pope. Crusaders took vows and were granted an indulgence for past sins. Weight 14.1 grams
