Description A lovely pair of English Antique Victorian solid sterling silver candlesticks by the silversmiths Henry Wilkinson & Co and with full silver hallmarks for London 1891. Beautiful quality pair, classic early 18th Century Georgian design, with decorative stepped square bases, attractive ornate stems and complete with their original same dated solid silver removable sconces. Solid silver bottomswith some interior base weighting. No engraved presentation inscriptions or monograms.

Measurements Each measures approx 4.95 inches (122mm) inches in height and are 2.65 inches (66mm) x 2.65 inches (66mm) across the bases.
Date Antique Victorian solid sterling silver with a full set of English silver hallmarks for London 1891 (date letter "Q"). Good matching hallmarks on both sticks, and both removable silver sconces so guaranteed an original matching pair.
Maker Silversmiths initials "H W & Co Ld", (Henry Wilkinson & Co).
Condition Good condition and ready to be used. No nasty knocks or dents just a few tiny age-related surface dents and bruises, but honestly nothing at all bad.Tiny repair on one stem as the protuding decoration on the column is set at a different angle, butrepair is barely visibleand 100% guaranteed an original matching pair.The silver sconces are definitely original,and they have matching hallmarks too. One stick rattles from loose interior base weighting.
