Best Early Antique Brown Fabric French Learner Ny 1899 Aafa:
Antique Book - 1899 - La Mare Au Diable par George Sand - (a French Learner)
This is an early book with an early cotton fabric cover. The book measures 5 inches by 7.5 inches by .75 inch thick. The fabric does show wear on the edges of the spine. I am guessing the book was covered around 1925 (???). The fabric has some "mottling" on it - darker areas - it's a brown and tan tiny plaid. One person that owned it was Irene Dudley from the University of Georgia 1925. She may even have been the person who made the cover (?).
