C.hasslerana: The plants reach 3-5 feet and are topped by delicate soft rose-pink flower clusters that are very showy from mid-summer through frost. The blooms are large, up to 6 inches across, and leave behind ornamental seed pods. Cleome grows well in average soil located in full or nearly full sun. It is very drought-tolerant, though it will look and grow better if it is watered well. Hummingbirds love them! Reseeds.

Sow after the last frost when the ground is warm. Cleomes may also be started indoors four to six weeks earlier at a temperature of at least 70 degrees
