Collectors item!Here is aHUGE Platewithleaf patternwith green, yellowand Brown decoration.It is made of ceramic and handpainted by DybdahlIncised under the bottom: Dybdahl+ Danmark + ovenproffDybdahl was established in 1952 by the couple Margrethe (1916-1999) and Palle Dybdahl (1918-2001) and they were active to the 90s
Their pottery was located about 30 km north of Copenhagen in Allerød
Palle made the shapes of the pieces and Margrethe made the decoration by hand.
She has studied at the Rostrup-Boysens Art School of Design in the 30s
The most well known decor are those with leaves but birds and other motives are also included in their handmade unique production.
All their pieces have a lovely soft matt glaze with beautiful brigth colours that remind of Scandinavian folk art - only the very late pieces are with glossy glaze.Length 40 cm - Width 21,5 cm
