Fine, early signed: Emma Clear, 1941 unusual china, fashion lady doll w/ corset:

14\" tall, very unusual and seldom found, adult female model china shoulderhead by Emma Clear, c.1941, and signed: Clear \'41 beneath the glaze on the back of the shoulders. She has downcast (painted) blue eyes, closed mouth, long slender nose, arched blond brows, heavy molded eyelids and blond curly hair in upsweep held with a molded, pale pink bow at the top, nice cheek coloring. Her lady-like commercially made, cloth body has slender china lower limbs with excellent finger detail (both feet at the ankles have old repair), flat-soled short, black painted boots with tan soles. She wears wonderful corset, pantaloons, matching slip with lace trim, beige satin shirt and charming two-piece walking suit with fitted jacket (rust and black stripes) with black velvet and jet bead trim (similar to a fashion doll). (4252 loc 10) Very good condition with no other defects, no cracks or chips and no repairs or odors as she is from a smoke free home.
