Halloween BUSTER BROWN AD PUMPKIN TIGE RARE BOSTON TERRIER advertisement was in A Saturday Evening Post from 1920. It shows Buster Brown of course and his dog Tige is popping out of a pumpkin. Also shows a great pair of shoes that look like they could be worn by a witch!
It is a reprint.....I have the original and it was fragile...but the reprint is strong and not a computer print-out but made in a camera shop. Mint Condition. About 10 1/2 x 14 inches.
The rare thing about this ad is that most others I have seen shows the dog Tige as a brown dog with a light brown muzzle. But this one looks just like a Boston Terrier....it is black with a white muzzle. there may be others out there like this but I have not seen one.
