Hi, thank you for having a look at my items. If you have been watching my sales over the past couple weeks you will know I have been offering an Amazing and Large Asian Art estate collection. This week there is some really amazing and rarely seen pieces, I believe one of my finest sales to date. Description

Up for sale is a Very Fine and Large Chinese Famille Rose Scenic Porcelain Fish Bowl or Jardinière Planter Vase. The Planter is one of a few very fine planter vases out of the same collection which can be found in my other items along with a variety of other fine articles. The Planter is by far one of the Finest Quality examples I have personally seen. I was told the Planter is an 18thc Chinese Qianlong period example, which by the superb qualities I believe to be a correct dating. However to be safe for the sale I am going to sell the planter as a 18th or 19th century piece, and will let you ultimately decide its exact age for yourself. The Planter is Superbly and Intricately hand painted all around with Vibrant Famille Rose enamel designs. The Planter has a very interesting and unique design including amazingly detailed bird figures all around, lotus, butterflies, famille rose floral and foliage designs, and great rocky mountainous turquoise enamel work. The Planter is also finely decorated around the top rim with a vibrant turquoise enamel finely detailed cracked ice design. Unfortunately the planter has been restored at some point and is being sold “as is” with old restoration to the mid section all around. However it could be re-restored if one desired, and it can only be noticed upon close inspection, and still displays Amazingly how it is. I am quite sure for its great and unique design and ultimate rarity it should still be a very desirable piece. The Planter is a large and impressive piece measuring 18 inches wide, by 17 3/4 inches tall. One of my personal favourites from the collection.
