Korn's Patent Bottle Shaped 4 Bladed Pocket Knife W Advertising On Handle For SaleDating from the 1880's is this bottle shaped pocket knife which measures 3 5/8" long and has the folding Korn's Patent Double Pronged, "Cork Turner " All blades, " Walk and Talk ", perfectly, open and close with authority, are clearly marked, show zero wobble from side to side, and is in overall superb condition. The Cork Turner blade is marked, " Korn's Patent ", In a cartouche and the foil cutter blade is marked, " Registered ". Advertising on the two handle slabs are for, " The National Tobacco Works, Louisville Ky. " and " Piper Heidsieck Tobacco Works, Louisville Ky. Plug Tobacco ". Bone handles show a pleasant golden patina. On the front handle there is a tiny crack at the center back spring pin, the back handle has a tiny crack at the blade side and lastly, another tiny crack at the bottom end pin ( see photos ). These cracks do not detract from the overall fine condition and beauty of this fine knife. All handles are very tight and stable. This well made knife is original and unaltered.
