The woman is posed to speak to the man, as he rests his arms on his umbrella and looks at her with a listening ear. She clutches her dainty handbag and shows off her flowered headpiece andwhitefur coat. The man is dressed in a bowler hat and bowtie.
History: Lladró is a company specializing in handmadeporcelain (sculpture, lighting, jewelry, homeaccessories, etc.). The company began in 1953, with the first store opening at the end of the 1950s in Valencia, Spain. They usher in new contemporary design ideas around the world with their boldness, skill, and attention to detail. Their figures are distinct in theircharacteristically elongated bodies.
