This stunning, near-100 year old ice-cream advertising sign measures a large 60\" x 21\" and is made of very thick cardboard which is housed in what appears to be its original black metal frame. The back of sign shows the original markings from when the sign was made (see scan). Two of my other scans show other original maker markings, including \"Patented May 14, 1918\" (lower left border), and \"The Kemper-Thomas Co., Cin., O.\" (Cincinnati, Ohio).Great lettering and graphics which feature an ice-cream sodaand an ice-cream sundae!! The sign features a cream-colored backround, with black and red lettering/graphics. The New Haven Dairy has a very long history in New Haven, Connecticut....this stunning sign needs to find its way back home to New Haven,from way out here in Oregon!<>Condition:this vintage ice-cream sign remains \"as found\", and can use some safe and gentle cleaning (especially on the back) by its next owner.
