"portrait Of Cadillac Ranch" Giclée Photograph By J. E. Moreno:
"Portrait of Cadillac Ranch" takes a look into a this strange landmark with an even stranger Americana backstory. West ofAmarillo Texas and adjacent to Route 66, Cadillac Ranchwas dreamt andbuilt by "Ant Farm" - a group of art-hippies imported from SanFrancisco. Backed bytheir silent partner was Amarillo billionaire StanleyMarsh 3, he wanted a piece of public art that wouldbaffle the locals so Ant Farm came up with atribute to the evolution of the Cadillac tail fin. TenCaddies were driven into one of Stanley Marsh 3'sfields, then half-buried, nose-down, in the dirt(supposedly at the same angle as the Great Pyramidof Giza).
Both the Giclée Photograph and frame is made on 1/2"solid wood andtopped with epoxy resinthat gives its gorgeous glass-like finish. Thewood frame enhances the piece and it's colors with a subtle 3D effect.Durable, unique and ready to hang, this photography is a perfect accent to any room. Circa 2009.
