Description
Up for sale is an Very Fine Chinese Carved Hair Rock Crystal Stone Snuff Bottle. The Snuff Bottle is a very interesting and beautiful piece. The Snuff Bottle is carved of a Beautiful Hu of Translucent Hair Rock Crystal. The Snuff Bottle is nicely and softly carved to each side with double gourds, foliage, and vines. I believe the Snuff Bottle is a good and authentic antique piece, which I believe would date to the 19th century period. The interior is finely and deeply carved, and the foot rim is also finely carved. The snuff bottle came from the estate with this carved jade or jadeite lid which compliments the bottle beautifully. The Snuff Bottle is in fine original condition with no chips, cracks, or repairs. The Snuff bottle displays nicely measuring 1 3/4 inches wide, by 3/4’s of an inch thick, and sits 2 inches tall not including the lid. The Snuff Bottle has a noticeable stone weight and without its lid weights 58.4 grams. A fine and interesting example.
