For sale is this early, silver (\"white\") very rare version of the Mir 1 37mm f/2.8 wide angle prime lens for (D)SLR cameras with the M42 thread mount.
*The lens is in MINT mechanical conditionEXC++cosmetic condition.All elements except rear optical element are in MINT condition.The rear optical element has some damage (see photos) which I have not found to effect image quality in any way.
*Focusing is smooth and accurate, diaphragm blades free of oil, no fungus or haze on the glass.
I can also not see dust in the lens, although micro dust particles are typical of such old items.
*Can be used on most (D)SLR a\\o Mirrorless cameras with the appropriate adapter (not included).
*Lens is sharp from wide open diaphragm.
*Lens made in the USSR.
*Comes in a bundle with hard plastic case (from 2 parts), front cap, rear cap and a suitable UV filter.
