We offer for sale this Rare Old Antique Native American Kachina/Katchina Doll – Circa 1880-90. It is 6 ½ inches high
without the feather, and approx. 2 inches wide.
This old Cotton Wood Doll was collected many years ago by my great Grandfather while traveling out west. I think he
said it is Hopi or Navajo.
It is pretty obvious that it was well played with by Native American Children. The condition is as you can see “as found”.
We are not Katchina experts so please review the photos and ask any questions you may have. We guarantee that this is
a good old doll!

We have been informed by an enlightened er that this this Kachina Doll was made by Wilson Tawaquaptewa.
Wilson Tawaquaptewa was born in 1873- died in 1960and was a member of the Bear Clan. He was from the village of Oraibi on Third Mesa
on the Hopi Reservation in Northern Arizona and became village chief of Oraibi in 1904.
