Rendezvous Mountain Man Hudson Bay, Witney, Pendleton :
Pictured are a few samples of my Hand Stitched Capotes that I'm selling on right now. You are offerding on MY SERVICE to MAKE a Capote from your blanket trimmed with tanned buckskin fringe on the shoulders, hood tassel, and/or sash ends. You may want options that may increase the cost a bit, we can talk about those later. Just the ticket for you fellers out there that have your own point blanket that you love and that's at least 72" wide and 85" long or more and want a capote made. (Note: larger the sizes will require a bigger blanket).
This service will be just right for someone that wants one, but doesn't have up to 20 or more hours to cut it out and stitch it together. I will carefully HAND STITCHED over any machine stitching using a 100% wool yarn durable standard blanket running stitch just for show and (material permitting) pockets will be roomy. Even with of all the work involved, I still only charge $175 when I use one of your blankets and, if possible, one of the styles in picture #12. If you want it sooner you can request Priority shipping for an additional fee depending where you live. These beauties are designed too keep you warm on those chilly rendezvous nights. I make them BIG as possible to bundle up in and still look great. I will use heavy "all wool" felting yarn through out. They take me well 14 up to 20 hours to put them together . . . But when your friends see it . . . you will agree . . . it was worth it! Who ever has one of mine made, loves it!!!!!!Here's how it works.
First you make a offer in this sale. Then you find a blanket that you like that weighs around 5 to 6 1/2 pounds and is at least 72 inches wide and at least 85 plus inches long (Note: If you're size is larger than a 2XL Regular length you will need a larger blanket). Buy it or dig it out of your plunder, and send it to me at the address you will get when you win this sale. When I receive it I will put it in line (I usually have at a couple in the works). Typically I will need about two weeks to complete your capote from the time I receive your blanket, but that will depend on how many I'm working on at the time yours arrives. I will then contact you to talk about some options and tell you about when I will complete your capote REMEMBER . . . It's first come first served, so the sooner you buy and then get your blanket to me the sooner you will get yours back. If you are in a hurry, I may have some capotes ready to ship so contact me or check out my store. (Click on the red door by my name "angrybar") Good Luck offerding!
