This sale is foran assortment of seven pellon T-Shirt press press proofs of classic T&C Surf Designs Surf Graphics,individually hand signed by Steve Nazar, creator and originator of the classic T&C character graphics.Pellon prints are fabric print samples printed on the same silk-screen presses as the T-shirts themselves. Pellon is a heavy felt-like material that accepts the ink used on the shirts. Each pellon is 15 3/4"x18'. They were used for registration purposes, salesmen samples, inter departmental communication and quality control between press runs. Very few ere created, and fewer still survived. The graphic included in this collection are Da' Boys, Surf Legends, Primal Urges (surf version), Hardcore Detectives, Surf Sacrifice, Mutant Surfers From Space, and Surf Challenge.The pellons willbe accompanied by a signed certificate of authenticity attesting to both theprovinance of the pellons, and to the authenticity of the signatures. Please note that the certificate depicted in the photosare unsigned, but will be hand signed and numberedby Steve Nazar prior to shipping.
