Size:6 1/4x8 inches (slightly bigger than the previous years)-Due to the wartime paper shortage the size formatis smaller and there are no free transfers until after the war.There were only 8 or 9 issues instead of 12 starting this year.

Vintage Stitchcraft magazine fromFebrary - March1944with some great vintage knitting patterns -lovely jumpers and accessories to make.I have shown some of the patterns and contentin the photos below.

I am listing a collection of these vintage Stitchcraft magazines dating back to the very first one in 1932. They are mostly in very good condition and stillhave the free transfers inside (where they were included). These magazines are brilliant for vintage knitting patterns and all contain a good selection of stylish patterns. They also have ideas for embroidery, although some of these would have required sending for a pattern/transfer at the time. There are various other homecraft projects plus they are also a great sourcefor vintage advertising - lots of fascinating adverts from the time.All magazines come from a smoke and pet free home.
