Up for sale is a Marlene Fashion doll. She was made by the Marx Toy Co. It was made in the early 1960\'s. This is a jointed doll. She has elastic strung through her joints to allow for movement, which causes her to be a bit flimsy / limp like. These dolls are difficult to find. This one comes with her vanity and stool, and she is in her original box (although it is fairly tattered). The doll is 6 inches tall. The vanity is 5 1/4 inches tall, and 5 1/2 inches wide. The stool is 4 inches tall. She comes with all the clothes pictured. Some appear to be hand made. Some do have stains. I do not know if any of these are her original clothes as she was an estate sale find.

Doesshe have the Marx manufacturing mark on her back or on her stomach? Yes, the mark is on her stomach.

Does she have any green ear, nose nips, neck slits, missing hair plugs, cut hair, chew marks, pin pricks, or ink stains? No, she does not have any green spots, missing hair, cut hair, pin pricks,chew marks or ink stains.She does have some darkening on the arches of her feet. I am not sure what this is, but it appears as if her shoes may have had some adhesive thathelped hold them on, and it left reside.
