Small porcelain mallard duck figurine about 4 inches long apparently made in Beswick England under the approval of artist Peter Scott. My internet research led me to believe these are not common in the United States and the only ones I saw saleed recently were on in England and were listed as no. 1518. I am not a professional but in my opinion the item itself appears in considerably good condition: shiny, the mallard has a yellow beak, dark eyes, dark green head, some blue on its sides. The remaining body is a combination of blacks, tans, creams and browns.
I went over it with a magnifying glass and the only thing I found was what appears to be a tiny chip under the one left wing feather tip that I found only by turning it upside down. Please look at the pictures as I have tried to show the condition.
