This haribako, or wood sewing chest has 4 pull out drawers with metal drawer knobs. The drawer fronts are a veneer burlwood and the body is lacquered with a mottled wakasa nuri effect. It has a flip top lid to access the storage space and slot to hold a ruler. It has the expected wear from usage and it is a sturdy box.
Condition: scuff marks, scratches, nicks, loss of patina/lacquer Ruler is missing stains on the lid and loss of lacquer small piece wood missing at where the lid and body meet - see 5th picture backside bottom wood trim is missing - see last picture
