Vintage Japanese Sewing Box, Haribako, 5 Drawers:

This haribako, or wood sewing chest has 5 pull out drawers with metal drawer pulls. It has a flip top lid which reveals segmented storage spaces. On the cabinets side there is a slot to hold a ruler, but the ruler is missing. This box is in good condition and shows the usual scuff marks, nicks and some minimal loss of finish as expected from wear and usage. Please view all photos for details of condition.
