Forged iron cooking trammel for use by history reenactors using a fire pit for cooking or for use in a home fireplace that is equipped with a crane. Trammel has 8 holes and adjusts from 15 1/2 to 23 inches in length in 1 inch increments. The top hook rotates and the bottom hook will slide to make the whole assembly short enough that the trammel can be mailed in a flat rate envelope at $4.80 Or if you purchase other items from my store that are to be shipped in a flate rate box-- the shipping is free. The hooks are hand forged from 3/8 round iron and the main bar is forged from 3/16 x 1 inch iron bar. This unit is very strong and made to last a lifetime. Trammel assembly has been coated with traditional blacksmith beeswax to resist rust.
