I\'m not going to start them at ridiculous prices; I\'m trying to be fair about it and charge for materials, a little for effort, and I hope that you find my work worth offerding on. This diorama contains a Tamiya 1/35 Sdkfz 223 Armored Car, various figures from Tamiya and Italeri, and Verlinden and Italeri diorama elements. Check out my other items for sale--I have more dioramas and quite a few armor and other built kits that I\'m going to be listing in the next couple weeks.This is a diorama that I did a two decades ago after watching a marathon of the Twilight Zone. The Sdkfz 223 is supporting a squad that is on a partisan hunt in a cemetery. The \"residents\" don\'t appreciate being disturbed. The avenging skeletons and ghouls are game figures that I have detailed and modified with tissue rags for old rotting clothes. The soldiers\' uniforms are all period-correct in their painting, and the \"chained dog\" policeman leading the squad is also correctly painted in the unique and appropriate uniform of the era, as is the panzer crewman.SHIPPING: My models are like my children; I WANT them to arrive at their new home undamaged (as you the buyer would expect!), and to this end, I genuinely try to package them with care. This diorama is double-boxed, delicately packed within a second box, and you will find the bottom of the diorama base stapled to the bottom of the first box in order to stabilize it to avoid damage from movement. It is easy to pry out the staples from the cardboard and wood using a simple butter knife or screwdriver. I have found this method to work the best so far in avoiding damage, though I cannot absolutely guarantee that some frustrated postal employee will manage to defeat all attempts at care and caution. I don\'t charge for anything \"extra\" in the shipping cost-only the size and weight are calculated. Shipping will take place the next day after receiving payment. Please pay within 24 hours.
