100% Genuine Murano Glass Mezuzah crafted and produced off the shore of Venice, Italy on the island of Murano. Please note the classic Murano millefiore design to the upper left of the shin. Gold leaf and bright indigo blue design. Torah scroll is still in plastic. While researching pricing for similar items, I've come across numerous articles and postings about the proliferation of fake (Chinese?) Murano glass items on .As this item was originally given to me as a gift, I don't have any original packaging or certificate of authenticity or a signed letter from the mayor of Murano or stamp of the Pope or whatever would constitute physical proof that this is authentic. (Other than the meticulous craftsmanship of the item itself of course. And the fact that I'm not selling more than one of them.)But I can guarantee you that it was purchased in Murano by my father and stepmother and brought back to me as a gift. If it weren't, I wouldn't have had to listen to hours of stories about the Jews in the Italian ghettos and the history of the word ghetto and however it is that the glass craft relates to all that which I can't even remember.
