Photos also on the is a late Victorian cameo depicting goddess Demeter in profile, set in filigree 10k yellow gold bezel. It has a ball hinge and an old-style safety clasp that has a lever circles the pin stem when pressed. A mark "G.L.P.C. 10k" stamped on the clasp. The whole piece measures about 1 7/16 inches including the bail. Without the bail, it measures about 1 5/16 inches high by 1 1/8 inches wide, and 1/2 inch thick. The whole piece weights 4.8gr. Condition is excellent. Can be worn as a brooch or necklace pendant. Circa 1900.
